Manages a team of copywriters, delegating tasks between team members, and sets daily deadlines.

Maintains house style and tone of voice while writing all copy across the website. This includes product copy descriptions, blog features, campaigns, press releases, packaging inserts, educational leaflets, homepages, email newsletters, social (paid and all organic channels) and SEO optimised category copy.

Works with the SEO Manager on all projects to improve SEO rankings across the website.

Curates and manages the blog calendar, maintains SEO best practice across all posts, and works with SEO specialists to track data analytics to improve site reach and rankings.

Works closely with the Comms Team to conceptualise unique and groundbreaking campaigns and tag lines.

Responsible for the on-boarding, training and managing of new team members as well as for supervising all incoming projects by delegating daily tasks to the entire team, setting clear deadlines and sub-editing all copy to safeguard editorial standards.

Helps project manage and holds the title of Editor-in-Chief of the annual Christmas magazine. Responsibilities include curating and organising the flat plan, commission freelance writers and editors as well as contributing to and sub-editing all copy.
